Since the takeover of the "Home Gateway Platform" division from Intel in 2020, the company has also been represented as MaxLinear Austria GmbH with a research and development location in the Technology Park Villach.

MaxLinear's approximately 1,500 employees are spread out all over the world. In addition to the headquarters in Carlsbad, California, there are other design centers in large cities like Irvine, San Jose, Waltham, Massachusetts, Vancouver, Valencia, Bangalore, Chennai, Munich, Israel, Singapore and Villach.
 

THE MAXLINEAR AUSTRIA GMBH

Since August 2020, the MaxLinear research and development center, for electronic systems and competence center, for mixed-signal architectures, and RF solutions for broadband communication, has been based in Villach. Around 100 employees from more than 15 nations are currently developing electronic products for digital business and home networks in Villach. The products developed in Villach are used not only for private home networks, but also by leading network operators worldwide.
