THE DIVERSITY OF VILLACH'S COMMUNITY CENTERS

The association "Volkshäuser Villach" rents event spaces from seven community and multipurpose houses in Villach at affordable rates for events organized by cultural, sports, social, and political associations, as well as private individuals:

• Volkshaus Auen
  With 90 m², Volkshaus Auen provides space for cozy gatherings of up to 80 people. The large hall can be darkened if needed, and there is also a small kitchen and bar facilities available in the hall.
   
• Volkshaus Landskron
  Located centrally in the Landskron neighborhood of Villach, the largest event center of the Volkshäuser Villach boasts a 450 m² hall, two bowling lanes, and a table tennis room. In the large hall, up to 240 people can comfortably sit at tables. A stage, a large stage screen, and the corresponding lighting and sound technology complement the facilities, making them ideal for "stage-ready" celebrations. The Volkshaus Landskron also features a well-equipped kitchen with cooking plates, warming trays, and a professional dishwasher, as well as a cold room, a tap for beverages, including glasses, and coffee dishes that can be used by renters.
   
• Volkshaus Maria Gail
  Volkshaus Maria Gail can accommodate 160 people. When renting the 200 m² large hall, the kitchen and bar facilities with tapping option are available for private celebrations.
   
• Volkshaus Pogöriach
  On 160 m², Volkshaus Pogöriach provides ample space for extensive celebrations. The multipurpose house can accommodate up to 120 people. In addition to a kitchen and bar facilities in the large hall, there is also an electric screen, as well as darkening and sound options.
   
• Volkshaus St. Magdalen
  In the St. Magdalen district, the Sports and Multipurpose House Volkshaus St. Magdalen impresses with a large hall of 180 m² and two bowling lanes in the basement. Up to 120 people can comfortably find a place here. On the upper floor, there is also a small kitchen, and mobile bar parts are available for renters, making Volkshaus St. Magdalen an ideal event location.
   
• Volkshaus Völkendorf
  In Volkshaus Völkendorf, where up to 220 people can comfortably sit at tables, temporary renters can enjoy not only two large halls of 255 m² each but also a club room and a table tennis room. Here, celebrations turn into experiences!
   
• Perau
  In September 2023, the joint Firehouse and Volkshaus Perau opened in Villach. The barrier-free event space is 180 m² and features modern lighting and sound technology.

THE DROBOLLACH CULTURAL CENTER

VILLACH'S COMPULSORY SCHOOLS - MORE THAN JUST FOR EDUCATION

The classrooms, gyms, and kitchens of Villach's compulsory schools are not only available for teaching but also for rent to clubs, adult education courses, and private individuals upon request. These spaces, emphasizing sports activities, are particularly suitable for children's birthdays or dance events. External rentals are possible on school days outside of class hours from 5 to 9 pm, on school-free days, weekends, and holidays. A NOVELTY IN VILLACH

Located in the Werner-Kofler-Straße in the Untere Fellach neighborhood, novum Villach is a multifunctional, barrier-free event location with a bright foyer, large hall, lounge, and rooftop terrace. The 285 m² large hall, including a stage, can accommodate up to 120 people at banquet tables. Additional services such as kitchen use and technical support for stage lighting and sound systems can be booked for a fee. COZY CELEBRATIONS IN THE DRAUFESTHALLE

For those who prefer a cozier celebration, the Draufesthalle of Fleischerei Hartl is an excellent choice. This rustic hall has enough space to comfortably accommodate up to 150 people for various celebrations. The large bar with a beer tap, refrigerator, and dishwasher is available for serving. Various cold and hot dishes are provided by Fleischerei Hartl. As the event organizer, you are responsible for beverages, pastries, and entertainment.
