BIG AIR WORLD CUP AT WÖRTHERSEE STADIUM

On January 4 and 5, 2025, Klagenfurt’s Wörthersee Stadium will transform into a winter sports showcase as it hosts the Big Air World Cup. The best Freeski and Snowboard athletes will take on a 450-ton ramp, soaring 15 meters above the stadium roof. Beyond the jaw-dropping competition, enjoy live music and get up close to the action in special viewing zones.

 

WOMEN’S SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP IN VILLACH

Just after the New Year, the world’s top female ski jumpers will take flight at the Villach Alpine Arena. On January 5 and 6, 2025, two World Cup competitions will feature the best in the sport, cheered on by passionate crowds. Villach is known for its energetic atmosphere, making it the perfect place to support the athletes as they soar.

 

ALTERNATIVE DUTCH 11-CITY TOUR AT WEISSENSEE

From January 18 to February 1, 2025, Lake Weissensee will become the ultimate destination for ice skating fans. Thousands of skaters, from beginners to seasoned pros, will take on 100 km and 200 km challenges as part of the Alternative Dutch 11-City Tour. This event also includes the Dutch Speed Skating Championships and the iconic 200 km professional marathon. With Lake Weissensee’s stunning winter backdrop, it’s a true celebration of endurance and passion.
