IN SEARCH OF HAPPINESS: A BILINGUAL EXPLORATION JOURNEY IN THE MUSEUM OF THE CITY OF VILLACH

Happiness comes to life in the Museum of the City of Villach within 500 square meters! This year's special exhibition is a fascinating journey that opens up new, exciting perspectives on the theme of "happiness" and presents inviting stories. In seven rooms, in the basement, and in a specially designed pleasure garden, the theme can be explored in both German and English. Numerous interactive stations also invite visitors of all ages to participate.

NEW PERSPECTIVES ON HAPPINESS

The bilingual and barrier-free exhibition combines various themes such as history and neuroscience in innovative ways. In addition to historical contexts, happiness is illuminated in relation to faith, enjoyment, society, and the garden. Visitors even have the opportunity to experience a flight from the Gerlitzen Alpe or conduct an interview with God using virtual reality glasses.

A DIVERSE EVENT PROGRAM

A varied event program accompanies the special exhibition, including sound journeys and city walks to Villach's main places of happiness. There are educational and outreach programs for all age groups, from kindergarten groups to school classes to adults and cultural travelers. Special tours are also offered for people with dementia.
